Red Pandas are classed as endangered and are under threat from habitat loss, illegal trade and poaching. They can be found in Bhutan, China, India, Myanmar and Nepal. Fewer than 10,000 Red Pandas are thought to remain in the wild.
Maiya was born at Taronga Zoo, Sydney on 20th November 2017. It is fun to watch Maiya as she learns to climb trees and chases the brush turkeys that get too close.
