Electronics took over in the weights and measures department, they are small and easier to take care of. Where as this huge thing has to be shipped out every so often to be calibrated, but how do you do that? Sure your already in a mail room, but once the scale is packed, how will you weigh it? It's just another one of those mail room paradoxes.
