Philip III, Plaza Mayor, Madrid, Spain The equestrian statue is the work of Giambologna and Pietro Tacca from 1616. It was a present of the Duke of Florencia. The statue was originally erected on the "Casa del Campo" and later was removed to the Plaza Mayor.
