Clan MacKintosh, originate in the Scottish Highlands, around the Inverness region. Their historic seat is Moy Castle, situated on Loch Moy, just south of Inverness. The clan has a long history, and played its part in many Scottish battles. The clan motto translate into English, "Touch Not The Cat Bot A Glove ("Touch not the cat without a glove") "
