Lusitania Departs New York Poster

In this old public domain image we see the great Cunard liner, RMS Lusitania, heading for home. She is assisted by a steam-powered railroad tug. There seems to be some sort of lighter beside her as well. It looks to me that her funnels are not painted in the traditional Cunard colours; red with four thin black bands and a black top. I know that her funnels were painted black at the outset of the first World War. Perhaps this photo shows Lusitania's last visit to New York. This high-resolution image is a major restoration of the original. I've added a few extras for a bit of style.
