Loving-Kindness Buddhist Metta Magnet

This is not what I thought it was and makes me laugh as I say it twice a day as part of my meditation practice. :) Life is not suffering, but we sometimes suffer, although we can cease. To do so, we must see and lean into our suffering, releasing it and turn it into compassion for all who suffer and help to find a way to free ourselves from this suffering. We say metta first to ourselves, then our parents, then teachers, then family-relatives, close friends, acquaintances, strangers, those we who might see us as enemies and those we might consider enemies, then to all living beings. It makes me laugh, it makes me happy, it's funny and helpful and ironic.
