This image of the Chinese goddess Kuan Yin sitting in a lotus is part of the flower essence self-awareness deck I'm working on. Lotus flower essence is used to heal one's relationship to spirituality, balancing lofty values with compassion for physical experience. Kuan Yin is the Goddess of Compassion, a Bodhisattva who came back to earth to heal and nurture spiritual growth in others. The Lotus is a symbol of enlightenment.
