"Looking on with Love" - Anne of Green Gables, PEI This is a Reproduction of my original Acrylic Painting on Canvas 16x20. "Looking on with Love" was inspired by the - novel "Anne of Green Gables' by Canadian author Lucy Maud Montgomery in 1908. It recounts the adventures of Anne Shirley, an 11 years old orphan who is mistakenly sent to a middle aged brother and sister who had wanted to adopt a boy to help on their farm in Prince Edward Island. The novels tells Annes story of her life with the Cuthberts, school and in her new town. Anne of Green Gables has sold more than 50 million copies and has been translated into 20 different languages. I took 3 photos in different lighting. Would recommend! I liked how there was an option to choose the font and colour of the name. The words are legible and the colours are exactly as pictured.
