Longs Peak Bear Lake Rocky Mountain National Park

We got up as the sun came up in Estes Park and headed into Rocky Mountain National Park. After driving the winding Bear Lake Road, we parked in the almost empty parking lot and walked through the trees toward the lake. What we saw took our breath away. Bear Lake perfectly mirrored Hallett Peak in its misty water, giving the depth of scene that only something like the Grand Canyon can give. Walking the trail around the lake, we came to Long's Peak's reflection. It was one of those "moments" that lasted all the way around the lake.
