c 1934 Vintage travel poster. This item has been digitally remastered to bring the original colours back and damage repaired - some age spotting may remain. Original artist not listed, printed for the Queensland Government Tourist Bureau. The resort on Lindeman Island, off Airlie Beach, Australia, suffered significant damage from Cyclone Yasi and was forced to close in 2011, sitting dormant ever since. Aboriginal peoples refer to Lindeman Island as Yara-kimba, the place of snapper-bream fish.
