Our coastlines are full of lighthouses that have withstood the storms of time. I created a lighthouse series in memory of the important role these buildings have for those stranded in furious waves. I often wonder how many lives have been saved by the far of light from the lighthouse tower in a stormy night. The Lighthouse is like a beacon of hope, a stronghold, part of our past, but also a part of our today.
