The cup itself is larger than a regular coffee mug. It is very sturdy and it handles well. I usually heat contents in the microwave - water for tea, soups, etc - and this works out very well, and the handle does not get hot. I am happy with the imprint on the mug. I may have liked the wording to be on one side or the other so that when you're holding the mug, the words face you, or away, as you prefer.

I was originally happy about my purchase and Nana loved the gift. HOWEVER, the description specifically says that these are microwave and dishwasher safe, BUT the first time Nana put this mug in the dishwasher it was destroyed. Not impressed..
