Barack Obama and Marie Antoinette are both terminally out of touch with their constituents. In a series picturing both in the Fairey poster style, both Barack and Marie Antoinette are offering their desperate countries bread and change. Neither made good on their promises. Marie Antoinette was captured and escorted out of the palace at Versailles by Parisian fishwives wielding kitchen implements with deadly effect. The guillotine, affectionately known as the "national razor", followed. Obama seems to be advancing recklessly into a meatgrinder manned by the Jacquerie.
