These are law books, each one has information of past cases and things like that. Lawyers use them to look smart, and to increase the amount of time it takes them to work on your case. They pretend to look things up and often with reading glasses on the lower part of their nose, pretend to thumb through, all the while the metre is running - lawyers out there reading this... you know what I mean. Shelves and shelves of these things, that you can easily look up in the net now, but the books make it look like you actually read them. Plus they look cool up there.
