Acclaimed Victorian artist Sir Lawrence Alma-Tadema (1836 – 1912) was born in Holland, lived in London and was known for highly detailed, idealistic scenes of ancient Greece and Rome. Alma-Tadema’s 400 paintings were filled with striking figures, architectural precision and realistically textured marble, metals and silks. His popularity faded when the Victorian era ended, but his work made a comeback in the 20th century, influencing set design in blockbusters such as “Ben Hur” and “The Ten Commandments.”

Beautiful quality tote bag in a heavy coated canvas. Shoulder strap is perfect length. Graphics are absolutely beautiful. The printing was great. The pink and black were perfect but the green didn't print as rich in color.

INCREDIBLE! These bags are beautifully made with a thick canvas fabric, and a shoulder strap that hangs perfectly. This is the smaller of the two sizes that I ordered. So Impressed. The printing is immaculate. The colors are just as deep and rich as the online image display. These are excellent quality printing.
