Animals who laugh? Yes, it's true orangutans, one of the great apes, do laugh. Who doesn't feel better after a good laugh? Like many of the orangutan orphans, this little male at the OFI Care Centre in Indonesia enjoys being tickled on his neck. Except for the adult males who make long calls to declare their territory, orangutans are mostly silent creatures. Their joyous smiles are obvious - as this picture shows, but their squeals are more like a pant. The artist is a volunteer at this facility and donates her profits to support orangutan orphan rescue and rehabilitation.
