L'art du Chocolat Postcard

Original oil painting by California artist, Susan Payne-Trutna. One of most delicious ways to combat Paris window shopping fatigue is to visit La Maison du Chocolat on 19 rue de Sevres, 75006. In addition to the endless rows of gourmet chocolates and truffles, I love the marble counters stacked with copper brown boxes in neat brick layers. These beautiful boxes are created by the same company that makes my favourite orange Hermes boxes. The refined chocolates are wonderful hostess gifts if you can manage to resist temptation while riding the Metro to your Paris dinner party....
