The Lady and The unicorn, a medieval tapestry from around 1500, is one of a set of French tapestries, considered great works of art from the Middle Ages. This Lady and the Unicorn tapestry is a stunning image of a lady standing in a tent, with a unicorn on one side of her, and a lion on the other. There's a little white dog sitting on a bench next to her, and a handmaiden on the other side. The tapestry's background is a red field of flowers and animals, including dogs, rabbits, and birds. The original medieval Unicorn tapestry was quite damaged and lost much of its original bright colouring and quality. While we were able to restore some of the Unicorn tapestry's original red and blue medieval colouring, please be aware that there are still imperfections in the image. Also, please be aware that this Medieval Tapestry product looks like a tapestry, but it is just based on the image. However, ours is a unique version of this medieval tapestry, as we have extended it and enhanced it to bring out its original beauty. I am pleased with this product, although there are a few minor points. It seems the fabric weaves are a bit large, which means the details of any text based photo will become slightly blurry. I'm not sure if this is printer related, but rather trying to print on the particular type of material. The zipper and seams were well made, and the prints were equal on both sides. The pillow circumference is not perfectly smooth, there are ridges (as seen in the stock photos). I did find my pillow didn't have the most even distribution of polyester, such that the top half was very round and lovely, but the bottom end had more kinds and could do with more stuffing (which I think I can easily do!). The colours came out as expected and quiet lovely. However the main focal point of the pillow (a vector black text image) was printed slightly blurry. The background colours and textures were true to the design. Reminder: Always expect less vibrancy than what is seen on the screen.
