La Clownesse (Clown) Cha-U-Kao by Toulouse Lautrec Large Clock

La Clownesse (The Clown) Cha-U-Kao at the "Night Club" (1895) by Toulouse Lautrec is a vintage post impressionism art nouveau fine art portrait painting featuring "the clown" in her dressing room fastening a yellow ruffle to the bodice of her costume. She was a dancer and clown at the Nouveau Cirque and Cha-U-Kao owes her Japanese sounding name to the phonetic transcription of the French words "chahut" (the cancan) and "chaos" referring to the uproar that occurred when she came on stage. About the artist: Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec (1864-1901) was a French post impressionism painter and was known as one of the greatest painters of the Post Impressionist period.

Thos is a great clock. Unlike the last Hockey Night in Canada clock, there is no second time that ticks. With this, the hands change automatically, and when I need to adjust the time, I would move the hand. The clock has the famous Hockey Night in Canada logo with a blue background. Similar to the logo that is shown on Hockey Night in Canada!
