I wanted a representation of the Emperor of Austro Hungary, Kaiser Franz Josef and this is a lovely representation. This is a very stylistic portrait and not at all kitchy and I really love it. I was originally happy about my purchase and Nana loved the gift. HOWEVER, the description specifically says that these are microwave and dishwasher safe, BUT the first time Nana put this mug in the dishwasher it was destroyed. Not impressed..
