If you look too quickly, you may think you're seeing the same painting as the one before! This wonderful image of kittens at teatime is one of several made by vintage pet artist Henriette Ronner-Knip (1821-1909). When Henriette Ronner-Knip first started painting, she concentrated mainly on landscapes. While she was known for her paintings in general, her specialty became the companion cat. Ultimately she dedicated almost all of her time to painting cats, which earned her the the nickname "Queen of Cat Painters.”
