Kilmarnock Castle – Boyd Clan Jigsaw Puzzle

Kilmarnock Castle was given to Sir Robert Boyd by Robert the Bruce as a reward for his loyal service. It was the family’s primary seat for more than 400 years until 1700. The Boyds lost possession of the property because of their support of the Jacobite uprising. It is now known as Dean Castle Country Park, located in southwest Scotland, in Ayr county, just north of Kilmarnock. It is open to the public.
