For eight-year-old Alizah, what started out as simple arm pain turned out to be cancer. After nine cycles of chemotherapy, she underwent a 21-hour surgery, where doctors removed a leg bone to replace the bones in her arm. Alizah recovered from the operation and powered through physical therapy, teaching herself how to walk again. Today, she loves swimming, biking, and making crafts. She also hopes to recover fully enough to return to school soon.
