Kenya We Love You. "Kenya Twakupenda" Kenya We Love You. “I love Kenya because you feel you are home anywhere you go.. Home anywhere you go -- that's the Kenya that welcomed me nearly 30 years ago as a young man. You helped make me feel at home. And standing here today as President of the United States, when I think about those young people and all the young people in attendance here, you still make me feel at home. These are the true words of love. a country which is cherished by many and has given love and homes to many not only people across national boundaries but a home to many of the wildlife which Kenya has been preserving and knows the importance of keeping these dangerous animals which are almost on the verge of extinction. It’s the rich culture of love that has united Kenyans together and people who visit Kenya on a safari always wish to travel and visit Kenya for a second time and every visit to Kenya is always magical. Remember the word Hakuna Matata was coined in Kenya and every tourist knows the word Hakuna Matata. The Swahili word for lion which is Simba is just one of the greatest well spoken words of Swahili. I just love the words President Obama said when he opened visit to Kenya opening remarks; PRESIDENT OBAMA: Habari Zenu! “How are you?” (Applause.) Wakenya mpo? “Kenyans are you there?” (Applause.) It is great to be back in Kenya. Thank you so much for this extraordinary welcome. I know it took a few years, but as President I try to keep my promises, and I said I was going to come, and I'm here.
