Made of sturdy, durable ceramic, this mug pleases me with the generous handle (no more cramped fingers or the feeling of roasting you can get from some of those tight, dainty handles. The deep blue inner glaze perfectly sets off the bright red and white of the exterior. The large size lets me enjoy a happy cuppa. The printing is crisp and clean with no smudging or over spray. The brilliant red with it's words of wisdom are fit for a queen.

I was originally happy about my purchase and Nana loved the gift. HOWEVER, the description specifically says that these are microwave and dishwasher safe, BUT the first time Nana put this mug in the dishwasher it was destroyed. Not impressed..
