Nichols, the Plaza was designed architecturally after Seville, Spain. On the right are the twin beams of the Steeples of Light, designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in the early 1940s as part of Wright's design of the Community Christian Church building at 46th and Main Streets in Kansas City, Missouri.
