Kaleidoscope Mousepad

This beautiful oil painting features a colourful abstract design. It resembles both a flower and an image you would see when looking through the lens of a kaleidoscope. The main shape within the design is a four pointed star. The star contains a variety of colours radiating out from the centre including white, black, yellow, orange, green, red, purple and blue. Each ‘petal’ has black stripes and dots of either black or white. There are four pointed leaf shapes that come out from between the stars’ points and end at the corners of the canvas. These ‘leaves’ are green at the base and have two darker green triangles and a hunter green diamond at the tips. The ‘leaves’ also have three black dots on each long edge and a yellow ochre oval shape in the centre. Each corner has a semicircle of orange and red that overlaps the ‘leaves’. The background of the painting is yellow ochre.
