抱き沢瀉 COASTER

【だきおもだか】沢瀉紋。 葉が人の顔のように見えることや、葉の面に葉脈が高く隆起しているところから「面高」と呼ばれるようになり、「面目が立つ」という語呂にも通じる。また、「沢の瀉（そそ）ぎ」に生える草だから「沢瀉」と書くのだともいう。文様として奈良時代から広く用いられ・・、武家にも多く用いられたのは、その葉が鏃に似ており勝軍草（かちいくさぐさ）とも呼ばれるからともいう（高澤等著「家紋の事典」）
