Jupiter And Earth Per Martineau (cards)

This image was inspired by the remarkable work of John Martineau, in "A Little Book of Coincidence". Tiled colorized planes of Jupiter's Great Red Spot (shifted +/- 120 degrees of hue, too, to complete the secondary colours) form the background. The hexagon within a triple nested hexagram defines the orbit of Earth. The orbit of Jupiter is defined by the outer circle. Spheres are used instead of circles for a more artistic effect. The image of the earth actually represents the orbit of earth, not the size of the planet. More info: www.GeometryCode.com.
