Jingle Bells on Aged Parchment with Gold Bells Tissue Paper

"Jingle Bells" was published under the original title "The One Horse Open Sleigh" in the autumn of 1857. It is one of the most popular holiday songs in the entire world. This original vintage version of "Jingle Bells" has dainty pale gold jingle bells strung lightly across the upper part of the page. A more robust string of bells was hung across the horse to prevent collisions at snowy intersections in New England in the 1800s (a horse drawn sleigh was actually pretty quiet and the loud jingle-jangle of the bells alerted on-comers.) Great for wrapping paper or decoupage.
