This is a reproduction of the French Master's work Jeunesse, or Youth, of 1925. Louis Icart was born in 1888 Toulouse, France and began sketching and producing art at an early age. He fought in World War I after having moved to Paris in 1907. After the war Icart was taken into the Art Deco movement and became a leading fashion and art figure in both Paris and New York. the artist died in 1930. The Colour Etching, Jeunesse, was produced in 1930 and its original size was 23 7/8 inches by 16 3/8 inches.
