Here, Jesus is depicted as especially approachable. He is garbed in primary colours--a bright blue tunic with a yellow collar and red mantle—that attract the viewer’s attention. He holds up the Eucharist—the bread in his upraised right hand; the chalice of wine, in his left—not in front of his torso but out to His sides.
