Jenny Nyström Lill-Nisse riding to war CC0316 Poster

Poster inspired by an adorable illustration by Swedish artist Jenny Nyström (1854 – 1946). The picture shows a very cute toddler boy on a red wooden horse, decorated with flowers (a Dalecarlian horse). In one hand he holds a wooden sword and in the other one the reins of the horse. He looks cheerful and very ready for battle. The illustration was published in 1922 for 'Lill-Nisse', a Swedish Christmas booklet for small childen. Lill-Nisse would translate to something like 'a young Christmas gnome'. A great poster for small kids - and for everyone with a fondness for Jenny Nyström and Scandinavian folklore.

The product itself is excellent. And the size was good once I placed the picture in the correct area. The only draw back is that the poster is shipped flat and very hard to unroll therefore be prepared to have roll marks on it when you finally do get it unrolled to lay flat. Printing is crisp and clear and the ink is wonderful. Again only problem was in the unrolling of the poster.
