Japanese Kanji Watch Gold
This watch's face has been designed like the Edo Japanese clocks called Wadokei. Although these clocks didn't work the same way as their Western counterpart (the hours varied during the year according to the seasons) it has been adapted for a normal reading.
The outer kanji (or Japanese characters) are the twelve Japaneze Zodiac symbols and the inner ones are the kanji numerals from four to nine. During the Edo Jidai, the combination of them showed the current hour.

I can’t speak to the durability, because I’ve only had it for a few days—but this watch looks great, and is very comfortable. So far, it’s keeping time. The print looks really nice. My design is on the darker side, so it definitely looks better in natural daylight. I imagine a brighter image would look even better.
