Created in 1994 at the request of Prince Rainier III in accordance with the design principles of Zen master Yasuo Beppu, this stylized park offers a harmonious blend of stone, water, and vegetation. Visitors can stroll along winding paths to discover traditional elements including a stylized mountain, a cascading waterfall, a Zen garden for meditation, and a beautiful red arched bridge crossing a koi-filled pond. Every detail of the garden has been meticulously planned to offer a serene escape from the bustling energy of Monte Carlo. The authentic Japanese structures, such as the covered terrace and tea house, were pre-fabricated in Japan and assembled on-site. Surrounded by Mediterranean plants pruned carefully in the nipponic style, the garden stands as a masterful bridge between Eastern traditions and the glamourous backdrop of the French Riviera.
