Bakeneko are known to stand up on their hind legs and dance, and are especially fond of licking lamp oil. Aside from cats being generally enigmatic and stealthy, it has been proposed that cats in old Japan were attracted to fish oil used in lanterns, so you can imagine a cat standing up to lick that oil, illuminated by the lantern's ghostly glow and inspiring the form of this yokai.

Both To Do Lists I submitted turned out awesome! It appears there was a misundertanding with the courier, as Zazzle thought they had not been delivered so they immediately rushed me them again, so I ended up with two of each! Thank you SO much Zazzle ! My recipients had no complaints!! lol.
