Jacob's Ladder poster

Jacob's Ladder (Genesis 28) is depicted in this reproduction of a counted cross stitch design. The sky and ladder are sewn in blackwork embroidery. Jacob's poignant cry, "The Lord is in this place, and I did not know it" is stitched into his pillow-rock. More Hebrew verses from Genesis 28, describing Jacob's experience of the Ladder, appear throughout the piece and are translated in tiny English script along the bottom.
