Many fountains in Kansas City, Missouri, are flowing blue in honour of the Kansas City Royals' baseball winning season, including the city's most famous, the J.C. Nichols Memorial Fountain on the Country Club Plaza. 2015 is the second year in a row that the Royals have made it to the World Series. Kansas City has more fountains than any city in the world except Rome, Italy, and is officially known as the City of Fountains. Community Christian Church, the low white building in the background, featured blue exterior lights in place of its usual white ones. The church was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright.
