戦国時代の末、織田信長がこれを用いたことが、その家譜に記されている・・永楽通宝銭は、織田氏が旗紋としてこれを用い、これを部下の諸将に与えたことから、これを受けた諸将は、記念として、これを自分の家紋に用いたものらしい(沼田頼輔著「日本紋章学」)
