Islamic Tile

This design is made from an original Ebru print, that I made while visiting Istanbul, Turkey. This design was produced using dyes, a water-based solution and special ebru tools. The painting are created by transferring designs, pattern, and motifs onto paper, fabric or canvases. The Ebru art form is also known as as "paper marbling." Ebru paintings are like printmaking, but no two designs are alike. Ebru paintings are mesmerizing works of art. I was Inspired by my Passion for this ancient art and love for the stunning city of Istanbul. It was in this magical city that I was blessed to learned this beautiful ancient art.
