Isaiah 9 Bible Verse Calligraphy Celtic Knot Ornament

A beautiful and unusual medieval illuminated manuscript style featuring a traditional Scottish Celtic Knot in shades of red and green. Verses from Isaiah chapters 7 and 9 written in Uncial calligraphy within the intertwining loops. The script originates in early medieval times and was used for ancient Christian texts in the British Isles. On the sides of the knot are the words of Isaiah 9:6 “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given”.
