Intracranial hypertension is a rare neurological condition which can lead to blindness and hearing loss, alongside chronic headaches, neck and back pain, and other complications. Awareness month is held in September, and spreading awareness of this under-researched disease could prevent the blindness and future disability of sufferers. The hummingbird ribbon was designed based on the recognized two-tone awareness ribbon and the hummingbird to represent tinnitus, which is another common symptom of intracranial hypertension.

Ordered this to put on my laptop at my liberal arts university, to show my true colours. It came exactly as described, it came undamaged and packed well, and it shipped quickly from the US to Canada. It was a little difficult to remove from its paper backing but otherwise I had no trouble with it. Clear, the colours were bright, and the text wasn't blurry at all. The red especially was vibrant and not faded-looking or patchy.
