Inside Kameido Tenmangu shrine By Ando, Hiroshige.
Kameido tenmangu keidai
Print shows men and women crossing bridges from island to island to reach the Tenmangu shrine. Born in Edo, Japan, Hiroshiges family name was Tokitaro, but he adopted the name of his mentor as per the custom of the time. His first work was a sketch of a procession done at the age of ten, and earned him the title of a prodigy. In 1828, Hiroshige began his own studio, but eventually moved to Kyoto to produce landscapes. His prints became very popular and emulated upon his return to Edo.
