In the twilight of eve, in this dim light I did perceive a most wondrous thing I've never seen before: A Spirit did sing, through the air She did soar, and Her long hair glistened. To Her song I listened. She danced with each star and She danced with the moon, but no matter how far I could still hear Her tune. In eve's fair weather She danced with ease, like a fallen feather upon a breeze. 'Twas no mere prance performed high above, but an elegant dance with the grace of a dove. My heart leapt for Her song, that's why my silence was not kept, but I let out a sigh that carried on twilight's breeze- though 'twas but a whisper. My heart fear did seize and my body did shiver as She stopped and hovered; No longer did She dance, for I was now discovered- Held captive by Her glance. I had great fear when I saw Her coming, gliding through the air. Yet, I was not running. Before my face She stood all aglow. My heart did race When She said hello. My eyes did behold, with vision keen, enchanting beauty untold, I've been blessed to have seen. The heavens did I see when I peered into Her eyes; There were starlights within, as those above us in the skies. I reached out a finger, to believe She was there. But this Sight did not linger, She vanished in the air. 'Twas nature's Spirit, I do believe, that I, without merit, did perceive.
