This piece is part of a series and was completed right before the start of WWI and was likely influenced by the heavy talk of war at the time. During the years before the war Kandinsky created several “improvisations.” He described these paintings as unconscious, spontaneous expressions.

I REALLY LIKE THIS PILLOW, IT IS HARD TO FIND ART DECO STYLE AND I WAS THRILLED TO FIND THAT ZAZZLE HAS SO MANY STYLES OF PILLOWS TO CHOOSE FROM. IT WAS A BIT CHALLENGING TO PUT THE PILLOWS TOGETHER BUT ONCE THEY WERE PUT TOGETHER THEY WERE PERFECT, LOVE IT. YES THE PRINT WAS JUST AS EXPECTED
