The beauty is mainly visual and aesthetic; The spectical come from their graceful acrobatic flight silhoutted againts the vibrant colours of the sunset sky as they commute back to their safe secluded roosting spots near the water The ocean surface often mirrors the skys colours, doubling the intensity of the light. The seagulls flying between these two surfaces of colour, become ephemeral messangers linkig the celestial spectacle above with the vastness of the water below the combination makes the common seagull mometarily appear majestic - a fleeting icon of freedom at natures most dramatic moments
