This is a photograph I took over a decade ago on a visit to Dresden, Germany. This is the Imperial stables and jousting court area. If you look closely at the base of each column, you can see blemishes that were created by centuries of horses nosing and licking the stone. Dresden is easily the most beautiful city I have ever visited and I hope to visit again soon.
