Iconic Sea Horse Mug
Vintage, retro Seahorse....... These majestic horses have been loved by Sarasota, Florida residents and its visitors since 1940. Famed architect, Ralph Twitchell created these stately figures for the promenade deck of the casino he designed for Sarasota's white sand Lido Beach. The building was demolished in 1969 but the horses have remained a symbol of the community. They were recast in 1983 for the facade of the Sarasota Quay which was also demolished. Two of the recast sea horses were returned to Sarasota's community and are permanently installed at Mote Marine Laboratory and Aquarium.

I absolutely love the colors and graphics of this mug. I was a bit disappointed in the size, but I think it may have been my lack of attention to detail. It was easy to design with the step-by-step method provided; during the design I could follow what it would look like, change the font and font size and, as a special feature I had the choice of background color. I had expected to receive the mugs in 2-3 weeks - they arrived in 5 days! I am very pleased with the quality of the mug, the ease of design and the speed of shipping. Well done! Love the color, the pictures are very clear and the wrap-around just right.
