Ice Raptor Greeting Card

This huge bird of prey emerged from a photo of sunlit ice rings in a Pecos River valley arroyo. The only alterations to the image are the duplication of a second wing and the addition of tail feathers. One wing, head, and body emerged complete. I have adjusted the contrast as well, but that is all. Swimming underwater are three dimly-seen fish, each a shape perceived in a photo of New Mexico bedrock, and reproduced unchanged. The bird hovers over water with a thin layer of ice, flowing beneath a wall of stone? ice? a mixture? You decide. There are upwards of 50 separate layers in the finished photo.
