This photo was taken at the bottom of Bunker Hill, which is located at the south end of Dutch Harbour, Alaska. The branches from salmonberry bushes and the dried grasses which grow around the base of the cliffs of Bunker Hill had become covered with ice formations from the water trickling off of the hill and then freezing during a cold snap. These ice formations are common all over Unalaska Island where ever water drips or falls on anything exposed to the extreme drops in temperature. Ofen waterfalls create the same kind of formations.
